Usually what I want and what happens are constantly in opposition to one another. What I want is for Spain to lose. Most likely, they won’t. Portugal’s 4-0 win over Spain in November will probably have no bearing on the outcome of this game, nor will it serve as an indicator of what to expect. This is a European Championship Semifinal.
In fairness, it’s over before it started. Spain has been here before, and I think Portugal, although good, won’t be ready for the occasion, sadly.
Oh, well, here’s hoping for an upset.
